Doctors review promising eye drop for devastating infection

Summary
This study looked back at the medical records of 40 patients with a rare and serious eye infection called Acanthamoeba keratitis. All patients had already received an experimental eye drop treatment (0.8 mg/ml polihexanide) through a special access program. The goal was to collect more real-world information on how well the treatment worked and how safe it was in everyday practice.
