This phase 2 study tests whether adding the drug acalabrutinib to the CAR T-cell therapy lisocabtagene maraleucel (liso-cel) can improve outcomes for people with aggressive B-cell lymphomas that have come back or not responded to treatment. About 28 adults will receive acalabrutinib pills plus a one-time infusion of liso-cel, after a short course of chemotherapy. The main goal is to see how many patients achieve a complete response (no cancer detected).
