New hope for sarcoma: drug combo aims to slow tumor growth

Summary

This study tests a new two-drug treatment for people with advanced soft tissue sarcoma that has spread. The drugs, abemaciclib and gemcitabine, work together to stop cancer cells from multiplying. The goal is to see if this combination is safer and works better than the current standard treatment. About 74 adults will take part.
