Could a tape measure help surgeons plan better?

NCT ID NCT07339241

Summary

This study looked back at medical records to see if a patient's abdominal (belly) circumference is linked to how long their surgery takes. Researchers analyzed data from 159 adults who had surgery to remove a rare adrenal tumor called pheochromocytoma. The goal was to find a simple measurement that might help surgeons better plan and prepare for these complex operations.
