European survey aims to clear up confusion on aneurysm care
NCT ID NCT07184723
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study surveys vascular centers across Europe to understand how they define and treat symptomatic non-ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysms (snrAAA). About 130 centers will share their current practices and details of their last five cases. The goal is to identify common approaches and gaps in care, since there is little evidence or guidance for this condition.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this could help standardize how doctors diagnose and treat symptomatic non-ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysms across Europe.
What could go wrong
This is an observational survey, not a treatment trial. It collects opinions and past cases, so it won't directly test a new therapy or change outcomes.
