NCT ID NCT05360108

First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study uses painless ultrasound scans to check for hidden bulges (aneurysms) in the belly and behind the knee in people at higher risk. Researchers will screen older women who smoke, all men over 65, and anyone over 55 with a family history of these aneurysms. The goal is to learn how common these bulges are and what risk factors are linked to them.
