First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looks at how often people who have had a ruptured brain aneurysm also have an abdominal aortic aneurysm (a bulge in the main belly artery). About 233 adults who survived a brain aneurysm at least one year ago will get a painless belly ultrasound. The goal is to find out how common this hidden condition is, so doctors can better screen for it in the future.
