First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether a newer form of platelet-rich fibrin (A-PRF) helps bone and gum heal better than the standard version when placed around a dental implant right after tooth removal. Sixteen healthy adults with a badly decayed back tooth will receive either A-PRF or PRF as a gap filler. Researchers will check bone thickness and implant stability over six months.
