Blood clot showdown: which filling helps dental implants heal best?
NCT ID NCT07319494
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a newer version of a blood-derived filling (Advanced Platelet-Rich Fibrin) helps bone and gums heal better than the standard version after a tooth is pulled and a dental implant is placed right away. Sixteen healthy adults with a badly decayed back tooth will receive one of the two fillings. Researchers will check bone thickness and implant stability over six months.
