First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested whether applying advanced platelet-rich fibrin (A-PRF) or concentrated growth factor (CGF) to the roof of the mouth after a gum graft procedure helps the wound heal faster and causes less pain. 45 adults who needed a gum graft took part. The results could lead to a more comfortable recovery for people undergoing this common dental surgery.
