First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tested a new type of PET scan (64Cu-SAR-BBN) to see if it can safely and accurately find prostate cancer that has returned in 53 men whose standard PSMA scans were negative. The goal was to improve detection of cancer recurrence after initial treatment. The study is complete, and results will show how well this scan works.
