High-Tech cast aims to make broken wrist recovery more comfortable

NCT ID NCT07350525

Summary

This study tested a new type of 4D printed cast against the standard fiberglass cast for treating broken wrists. Researchers wanted to see if the new cast was more comfortable for patients and if it helped the bone heal just as well. About 25 adults with a wrist fracture participated and were followed for six months to compare their experiences.
