Summary
This study tested whether playing 3D puzzle games could help improve thinking skills and sense of purpose in older adults. Researchers worked with 40 people living in a nursing home, having half play puzzles three times a week for 10 weeks. The results showed that the puzzle games led to measurable improvements in attention, visual skills, and overall engagement in life.
