3D-Printed night guard trial aims to ease jaw pain
NCT ID NCT07433725
Summary
This study is testing whether a new type of night guard, made with a 3D printer, works as well as the traditional kind for people who grind or clench their teeth. Forty-four adults will wear either a 3D-printed guard or a standard acrylic one for three months. Researchers will check how comfortable the guards are and how much they wear down to see if the new method is a good alternative.
