3D-Printed smile savers: a kinder choice for Kids' teeth?

NCT ID NCT07161076

Summary

This study tests whether a new 3D-printed dental spacer is as good as the traditional metal one for keeping proper spacing after a child loses a baby tooth too early. Thirteen children will try both types—one on each side of their mouth—and be checked every 3 months for a year. Researchers will see which device stays in place better, is more comfortable, and is healthier for the gums.
