First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether 3D printed metal retainers are less likely to come loose than standard bonded retainers. Researchers will follow 64 people who have finished orthodontic treatment for up to 12 months. They will count how many teeth lose their retainer and also check for plaque buildup, wire breakage, and any teeth shifting.
