First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study compares two types of tooth fillings for large cavities in back teeth: 3D-printed fillings and bulk-fill fillings. Fifty adults aged 22 to 45 with large cavities will receive one of the two fillings and be monitored for two years. The goal is to see which filling performs better in terms of strength, fit, and appearance, and to help dentists choose the best option for routine care.
