3D-Printed tooth caps could replace traditional fillings

Summary
This study compares three types of 3D-printed resin caps (onlays) for back teeth that have had root canals. Forty-eight adults will receive these caps and be checked at 6 and 12 months for how well they function, look, and hold up. The goal is to see if 3D printing can make durable, natural-looking tooth repairs with less waste than traditional methods.
