3D-Printed ankle bone offers new hope for patients with dead bone

Summary

This study tracks 50 people with avascular necrosis (bone death) of the talus who choose to get a custom 3D-printed talus replacement. The goal is to see if the implant restores foot alignment, preserves motion, and improves pain and walking compared to older surgeries. Participants will be followed for one year with X-rays and surveys.
