Scientists 3D print spine discs to unlock disease secrets
NCT ID NCT07250126
Summary
This study aims to create a detailed 3D printed model of the human spinal disc to better understand degenerative disc disease. Researchers will collect small tissue samples from 5 people undergoing spine surgery and analyze their genetic activity. The goal is to develop a more accurate laboratory model for future research, not to provide direct treatment to participants.
