3D printing offers new hope for burn survivors struggling to eat and speak

NCT ID NCT07264218

Summary

This study is testing a custom-made mouthpiece created using 3D scanning and printing to help people whose mouths have become very small after facial burns. Ten participants will wear the device daily for two months to see if it can help them open their mouths wider. Researchers will measure changes in mouth size and scar appearance to see if this personalized approach is helpful.
