3D printing aims for perfect smile: new trial tests implant precision
NCT ID NCT07199153
Summary
This study is testing a new 3D printed guide to see if it helps dentists place dental implants more accurately, especially for front teeth where appearance is critical. Ten patients with a single missing front tooth will have their implant placed using this custom guide and a special navigation system. After surgery, scans will measure how closely the final implant position matches the original plan to see if the new method is precise enough for regular use.
