Can smoother 3D-Printed dentures fight yeast infections?
NCT ID NCT07303530
Summary
This study aims to find out if the thickness of the layers used to 3D-print a denture affects how much candida yeast can grow on its surface. Ten patients who have lost all their upper teeth will each try three dentures printed with different layer thicknesses. Researchers will measure the yeast growth on each denture to see if a smoother print leads to a cleaner denture.
