First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether using magnified 3D-printed models of carpal (wrist) bones helps medical students learn anatomy. 126 students were given quizzes before and after using the models, and they rated the models for detail and ease of learning. The goal was to see if these realistic, hands-on models improve understanding compared to traditional methods.
