NCT ID NCT07267156
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new custom-made 3D-printed toe spacer for people recovering from bunion surgery. The spacer is designed to fit each person's foot shape, aiming to improve comfort and keep the toe aligned better than the standard gauze spacer. Forty adults having bunion surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either the 3D-printed spacer or the standard one, and their comfort, pain, skin irritation, and toe alignment will be checked over five weeks.
