First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether 3D-printed shape memory aligners can correct anterior open bite in adults. About 51 participants will wear the aligners for 6-8 months. The study compares three groups: conventional aligners with attachments, 3D-printed aligners without attachments, and 3D-printed aligners with attachments. The goal is to see if the new aligners work better and reduce the need for extra attachments.
