Doctors test 3D blueprints for complex cancer surgeries

NCT ID NCT06434727

Summary

This study looked back at past patient scans to see if 3D models help surgeons plan complex lung and colon cancer surgeries better than standard 2D images. Surgeons reviewed the 3D models and answered questionnaires about their usefulness for planning. The goal was to gather knowledge to potentially improve future surgical planning, not to test a new treatment on patients.
