Digital vs. goo: which dental mold do kids prefer?
NCT ID NCT07179146
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tested two ways to measure children's dental arches: the traditional method using gooey impressions and a new 3D digital scanner. Twenty healthy kids aged 7-11 had both methods done, and researchers compared the accuracy of measurements and how comfortable each felt. The goal was to see if the digital approach works just as well and is more pleasant for children.
