First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests special 3D-designed glasses lenses to see if they can slow the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in children and teens aged 6 to 14. The lenses create defocus to reduce eye growth that worsens myopia. 144 participants will be followed to measure changes in their prescription and eye length.
