New stomach infection treatment trial tests if newer acid blocker works better than older standard
NCT ID NCT07165444
Summary
This study compares two different stomach acid medicines used as part of a four-drug treatment to cure a common stomach infection called H. pylori. Researchers want to see if a newer type of acid blocker works better, is safer, and is easier for patients to stick with than the current standard medicine. The trial will involve 320 adults with confirmed H. pylori infection who have never been treated for it before.
