Summary
This study aimed to understand how doctors in France choose different methods to start labor and what happens to mothers and babies as a result. Researchers followed over 3,000 women whose labor was medically started to compare outcomes like birth complications and mother satisfaction between the different methods used. The goal was to see if real-world practices match national guidelines and to learn which approaches work best.
