First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study compared two different fitness tests in 20 elite female football players from the Turkish Women's Super League. The goal was to see which test better measures sport-specific aerobic fitness. Players completed both a treadmill test and the 30-15 Intermittent Fitness Test, which involves running back and forth. The study found that the 30-15 test may be more sensitive for soccer-specific performance.
