Stroke study pulled: no patients enrolled in Clot-Removal trial
NCT ID NCT06034847
First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study aimed to see if giving extra treatment for smaller blockages left after the main clot is removed in stroke patients could improve recovery. The trial was withdrawn before any patients joined, so no results are available. It would have compared standard care with additional mechanical or drug treatments for these remaining blockages.
