Summary
This study tests a new vaccine designed to protect against 24 types of pneumococcal bacteria, which can cause pneumonia and other serious infections. The trial includes 854 participants ranging from 2 months old to older adults, and will check for safety and immune response. The vaccine uses a carrier protein to boost protection, and results will be compared to an existing vaccine.
