Summary

This study is testing a new vaccine designed to protect against 24 strains of pneumococcal bacteria, which can cause pneumonia and other serious infections. It will involve 992 healthy Chinese adults aged 18 and older to see how safe the vaccine is and how well it triggers an immune response. The trial compares three versions of the new vaccine against an existing 23-strain vaccine.
