New pill aims to boost your 'Good' cholesterol
NCT ID NCT04941599
Summary
This study is testing if a supplement called 2-HOBA can improve how the body's 'good' cholesterol (HDL) works in people with an inherited form of very high cholesterol. Researchers will give 72 participants either 2-HOBA or a placebo pill three times a day for six weeks. The main goal is to see if 2-HOBA helps the 'good' cholesterol remove harmful cholesterol from blood vessels more effectively.
