Radioactive antibody targets Hard-to-Treat cancers in early trial

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new drug called 177Lu-RAD202 in 30 adults with advanced solid tumors that have a HER2 gene change. The drug uses a radioactive particle attached to an antibody to seek out and deliver radiation directly to cancer cells. The study first uses a small imaging dose to see where the drug goes in the body, then a treatment dose to check safety, side effects, and the best dose for future studies.
