New radiation therapy shows promise for Tough-to-Treat prostate cancer

Summary

This study is testing a new treatment called 177Lu-PSMA-617 for Chinese men with a type of advanced prostate cancer that has spread and is no longer responding to hormone therapy or chemotherapy. The treatment delivers radiation directly to cancer cells, aiming to shrink tumors and slow the disease. About 62 men will receive the drug alongside their usual care to see if it is safe and effective.
