First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study compares a new 14-day treatment using just two medications (vonoprazan and an antibiotic) against the standard four-drug therapy for eradicating H. pylori, a bacteria that can cause stomach ulcers and cancer. About 372 adults who have never been treated for H. pylori will take part. The goal is to see if the simpler dual therapy works just as well and causes fewer side effects.
