Decade-Long checkup: how well does a hearing implant hold up?
NCT ID NCT05058066
Summary
This study followed 51 adults for 10 years after they received a specific type of bone-anchored hearing implant. The goal was to see how stable the implant remained in the skull, how often it survived without problems, and how well the skin around it tolerated the device over a very long period. Researchers collected this long-term data to understand the implant's durability and safety better.
