New gel could tackle stubborn yeast infections

This study tests a new gel called OCF001 for treating acute yeast infections in women. About 36 women with a confirmed yeast infection will use the gel or a placebo for 7 days. Researchers will check if the infection clears up and if the gel is safe and well-tolerated.
