New ultrasound could replace X-Rays for bone health checks

This study tests a new ultrasound technology called REMS against the standard DXA scan for measuring bone density. About 296 women aged 30-80 will participate to see if REMS is as accurate and reliable. If successful, it could offer a radiation-free way to diagnose osteoporosis.
