New gel could fight infections in diabetic foot ulcers

This study tests a gel called Nu-3 on mildly infected foot ulcers in adults with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes. The goal is to see if it safely reduces bacteria and clears the infection. 24 participants will apply the gel twice daily for up to 4 months at different strengths.
