New device aims to stop postpartum bleeding without surgery

This study tests a device called KOKO to safely stop heavy bleeding after childbirth. About 72 women who have abnormal bleeding or hemorrhage within 24 hours of delivery will use the device. The goal is to control bleeding and avoid the need for extra procedures or surgery.
