Midline IVs under the microscope: why do they fail?

This study is observing 984 adults in hospitals to see how often midline catheters (a type of IV) need to be replaced or removed early, and the reasons why. The goal is to learn how to use these devices better and improve patient care. No new treatments are being tested.
