New heat therapy for lung cancer tested before surgery

This study tests a new device that uses heat (radiofrequency ablation) to destroy small lung tumors during a bronchoscopy, right before planned surgery. The goal is to see if the procedure works well and is safe. About 20 adults with early-stage lung cancer will take part.
