New gum patch could ease pain after wisdom tooth surgery
Symptom relief Not yet recruitingThis study tests whether a numbing patch placed on the gum can reduce pain after removing an impacted wisdom tooth. About 21 adults will receive either the lidocaine patch or a placebo patch. Pain, swelling, and mouth opening will be checked on days 1, 3, and 7 after surgery.
