This study tested a drug called cebranopadol to see if it safely reduces moderate to severe pain after a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty). About 279 adults took either the drug or a placebo, and researchers measured their pain levels over 48 hours. The goal was to find a better option for managing short-term surgical pain.
